A property flipper does not require a license to practice real estate, nor is he under the oppression of any government agency. He gets benefit from the low overhead, flexible work timings.

Three Different Types of property Flippers

There are three kinds of property flipper, in general based upon experience:

• The Scout
• The Dealer
• The Retailer

The Scout

The Scout is a person who gathers information (data). He is the "bird dog" who finds potential real estate deals and sells the information (data) to other investors. Many people might even get started as a Scout for other investors as it does not require any cash or past skills or experience to look for concerned properties. The Scout finds a property for sale, collects the required data, and then offers this information to investors for a charge. The fee or a charge will vary depending on the price of the property and the profit possible. The Scout can also expect making five hundred to one thousand dollars each time he offers essential data, which leads to a purchase by an additional investor.

The Dealer

Dealer is a person who flips as many deals as he could find. On the full-time basis, a dealer may make well over fifteen thousand dollars a month with no setting up a property or dealing with a tenant. On a part-time basis, a dealer could simply make an extra three thousand dollars a month flipping a property or two. The dealer’s way of life is like a true entrepreneur. He may work as much or as little as he wishes, with out any boss ruling, no employees and the liberty to be as he pleases!

The Retailer

The Retailer is person who usually purchases properties from a Dealer or with the assistance of a real estate agent or Scout. The Retailer's aim is to glue up the property so he might sell it for full retail price to an owner-occupant. Compared to further property flippers, the Retailer puts up the most capital, has the highest risk and stands to make the major profit on each deal. However, it might take the Retailer months to grasp his profit, not like the Scout or Dealer who makes his money with in days or weeks
